Bryce Thomas Hensley

Bryce T. Hensley is an attorney at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, in Chicago where he represents victims of all types of personal injuries, including: mass torts, civil rights violations, sexual harassment, automobile accidents, wrongful death, slip and falls and others.

Mr. Hensley was inspired to serve as a personal injury attorney, recognizing that earning a law degree is a tremendous privilege and provides the opportunity to help those who are most vulnerable and in need. Prior to becoming an attorney at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, Mr. Hensley served as a law clerk for Antonio Romanucci, Principal and Partner at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, aiding in all stages of trial, motion practice, and discovery. Mr. Hensley’s knowledge of litigation technology and trial strategy was instrumental in securing a $44.7 million verdict against the City of Chicago for Michael D. LaPorta. This is the largest verdict ever returned in a police misconduct lawsuit involving the city of Chicago and in the state of Illinois.

Mr. Hensley graduated in the top eight percent of his class at Chicago-Kent College of Law, earning him the honor of graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. While at Chicago-Kent, Mr. Hensley was the captain of the school’s nationally-ranked trial advocacy team, where he earned the Best Advocate Award at the national Tournament of Champions. Mr. Hensley was also one of just 16 individual students selected from around the country to attend the prestigious Top Gun Trial Competition at Baylor University.

In the classroom, Mr. Hensley earned the CALI award for scoring the highest grade in six of his classes: Torts, Property, Civil Procedure, Evidence, Trial Advocacy, and the Law of Section 1983. Mr. Hensley served as a teaching assistant for multiple semesters and upon graduation, earned induction into the school’s Bar and Gavel Society for his extensive service and dedication to the law school community. Mr. Hensley currently volunteers as a coach for Chicago Kent’s Trial Advocacy Team and is a member of the American Association for Justice, Illinois Trial Lawyers’ Association, and the 7th Circuit Bar Association.
