Phil Schlichting

Phil Schlichting is a lifelong Chicago-area attorney who practices law in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.  Phil completed his undergraduate degree at Northeastern Illinois University and graduated from John Marshall Law School in 2011.  Since 2011, Phil has managed his own practice and he has also worked with a large law firm serving Hispanic clients in Chicago.  His practice primarily consisted of criminal and traffic cases, family-based immigration, Illinois Secretary of State administrative hearings, divorce and mortgage foreclosure cases.  

Thereafter, Phil continued work in civil litigation against large government entities and corporations.  Phil often represented a large group of individuals as potential class action cases.  Over the years, Phil has advanced in a litigation setting and welcomed the challenges associated with complex litigation against major defense firms.  Phil is also Spanish-speaking and has been able to effectively assist clients who have difficulty navigating the court system without familiarity in English.  Phil enjoys resolving challenging legal issues and looks forward to expanding Zuma Law LLC’s areas of practice so that clients are able to receive comprehensive legal representation at an affordable rate.
