I wouldn’t recommend her to my worse enemy!! She was appointed by the court to represent our child which I’m not even sure exactly what she even got paid for, besides a couple visits nothing else was done. She will however harass you for money, charged $75 for a 3 min phone call once , pretend like s...he had appointments scheduled when didn’t so she can stack on extra fees per her negligence. Threatened to take our case to trial like we weren’t aware of that being unlawful because she didn’t get payment at her convenience. And that’s not even all! She’s a horrible person and horrible Attorney her best interest is Greed!! I highly would not recommend I would give no stars if I could!! If I had the time and patience I would sue her for lack of doing her job!

My Ex-wife is a Lawyer she had temporary custody of our daughter for almost 2yrs and had me in court almost everyday using our 12yr old Daughter against me , My Attorney Ms Porter was there every step of the way , through order protection , and DCFS cases, I observe the skills and patient she have by... allowing my ex-wife to be loud, rude and obnoxious but Ms.Porter remain professional and place the facts at the Judges feet...To make a long story short, Finally Divorced in Jan 2015 also have FULL Custody of my Daughter with all the Amenities.... I was very satisfied with Arlette Porter as my lawyer. It was a difficult fight but Mrs. Porter helped me get joint custody of my son and a great amount of parenting time! My court battle went on for a while but because my sons mom would never show up but her lawyer would. Mrs. Porter was always on ...time and always returned my text messages.
