Rusty Pulled Me Up and Got Me Going Again

I came to Rusty at probably the lowest point in my life. Creditors were blowing up my phone constantly. So much so that I didn't answer it any longer. I was getting sued by a hospital for medical bills from a bike accident. My house was about to go into foreclosure. I was so depressed I didn't functi...on most days. Finally, I decided enough was enough. I hired Rusty to file bankruptcy for me. I must say, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He explained it all and walked me through the process which went off without a hitch. I got out of the debts and am well on my way back to recovery. Thanks and GOOD JOB.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2007.

Censure issued in IL, 2007

updated on 03/07/2013

Censure means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Rusty’s comment:

“I take no shame in standing up for what is right. I made the mistake of taking on the Cook County political machine by filing over 50,000 residential tax appeals. The powers that be did not like the fact that my firm was able to achieve large tax bill reductions on behalf of the many Chicago homeowners. Charges filed with the state were politically motivated in my opinion. I fought them for quite some time but the expense to continue was enormous and thus I agreed to a censure in one case.”
