There is a reason he has no malpractice insurance...beware.

Initial impression was very good on the phone. Once retained, however, I began to have a relationship with his assistant and billing manager. After six months I had to email several times just to get the first status on my case. The reply was a little condescending. I was told that he was "doing gre...at work" but I would eventually lose the case and I should be more diligent making payments. This came as a shock to me. I hired him to negotiate a settlement. He said in the email reply in that case he needed me to sign a permission to allow him to negotiate on my behalf. I had paid $3600 at that point but agreed to give him a second chance as I had invested a substantial amount of money. Five weeks and another $800 later I had to email the office to remind them to send the release form! Needless to say I considered the relationship to be over at that point. I purposely waited for him to contact me as I stopped hemoraging money to him. Bills kept coming and still no contact. Finally I had enough and emailed to initiate a response. He actually agreed about that we had a "miscommunication" and agreed not to sue me for breach of contract. He offered to withdraw at the next earliest court date. This did not happen. He took more then six months to get a court date. I can't begin to tell you how damaging this was to my case. I actually scheduled my own meeting with opposing counsel and the judge to apologize for hiring him. You can imagine I am still liable for his actions. They were understanding and even suggested alternatives and a course of action. I would encourage you to do your own due diligence before hiring Mr. Stamm.

I was specifically retained to handle litigation matters and allow the client the opportunity to pursue some settlement or alternative resolution in this case. I diligently appeared in court and kept the plaintiff from obtaining a judgment, including filing multiple motions in the case, despite not being paid. When I attempted to withdraw from the case, after long time without payment, I could not do so because my certified mail with the appropriate notices was refused. I was straightforward about your case and what was necessary; I am sorry that you seem to have had very different expectations, despite my advice, about the case and your thoughts about settlement.
