Anthony Robert Burch

I was facing a misdemeanor which to me was the end of my career and very unfair and I felt lost not knowing what to do when I have never stepped a foot in a court room. My fiance' and I hired Mr. Burch to represent him for First Degree Murder charges. I met with him for a consultation. Day 1 he told me, he's 80% confident that he could beat this case, and he believes in going to trial. On the other hand, due to my fiance' being labeled as a habitual criminal, and a ...gun being involved, he could be charged on other accounts too. As the trial date was approaching, Mr. Burch negotiated with State's Attorney, and met with the Judge several times. He weighed my fiance' options in detail, and requested time from the judge to allow my fiance' to think about any decision. He cares about his clients and their family. I don't know what was said behind those closed doors, with both attorneys and the Judge, but he put up a good fight for my fiance'. Mr. Burch was supportive to family as well. He was very understanding if payments were late, scheduled court appearances around my work schedule, and if family were running late to attend a court appearance he would stall for more time until my fiance' would be called out. He invited us to his Christmas party and informed me of another gathering this summer. He always asked about our daughters, and how I was holding up. He's a professional and down to earth attorney. If Johnnie Cockren had a brother he would be named Anthony Burch. I'm an African American Male put in to the criminal justice system, in the NW suburbs of Chicago. I was looking at 21 years for Felony Home Invasion, of MY OWN HOME. The Judge set my bound was $125,000, and the State and my local pol...ice department were hoping I would cop to a lesser felony. Things were looking grim! But, they didn't count on Anthony Burch. This man was a pit bull in the court room. He ripped the States case apart witness by witness. It took the jury all of 15min. to reach a verdict of NOT GUILTY. And, 10 of those minutes were spent selecting the forman. The State's Attorney's office are still licking their wonds. Did I receive compitent counsel ? Yes Would I recommend him ? Yes Ps. He's not cheep, but you get what you pay for. And, I am free today because of Mr. Burch.
