The plaintiff, Kurzawski, sued the Chicago Transit Authority for an amount in excess of $50,000 for personal injuries that she claimed to have suffered as a result of being allowed to exit a bus in an ... area with tall grass. As the per diem defense attorney for the CTA I argued to the jury that the plaintiff had voluntarily exited the bus and that the CTA had no liability for defendant's actions. After deliberation, the jury entered a judgment for my client, the Chicago Transit Authorty.
