I was referred to Gus by another firm who took money for a case and then dropped me and only refunded $500 from $5,000. Gus accepted my case and I was so thankful because he is a very caring professional. Working with Gus was wonderful because his people skills are EXCELLENT. Gus calmed my nerves by deeply caring about me, my children, my financial situation and, perhaps best of all, taking a very complicated and unfamiliar legal process and explaining every step clearly. He didn't fast talk you through what was happening and hang up the phone. He clearly and professionally explained what was happening step by step and didn't move forward without making sure I knew and understood one point clearly before moving forward. My case was 2 years long and Gus patiently and compassionately talked me through any moment of panic or anxiety. As a disabled single parent with three children (two of whom are also disabled) he always kept his eye on the ball about how my family would be affected by any point or proposal made by opposing council. He is also so warm and caring I felt like I was working with an old friend who was clearly committed to helping me and my family through a legal mess. After all I have written, to put it simply, Gus is great. I highly recommend him. He will work hard for you and help you through every step of your situation. It would be foolish not to work with him.
