Sara Judith Bartos

My husband and I faced a challenging immigration case, we actually at one point lost hope of actually achieving legal status in the USA do to the nature of the case. We were really fortunate to have Sara Bartos be our lawyer and handle our case. I can not even become to describe what a great person s...he is. From the first meeting with Sara, one will realize how what a professional she is, she created a very detailed plan for our case, sort of a road map. She then submitted a report which was over 1000 pages to support our case. Trough out the whole process she was extremely detailed oriented, not a single detail, not a single piece of supporting evidence slipped past her. Sara also helping me, pushing me to submit, and resubmit statement, making the evidance of our case be as perfect as possible. I tell you, in my personal and professional career I don't think I've ever met someone who is so perfect at what they do. I went from feeling helpless to feeling confident about my case, Sara convinced me that the case was winnable, that we had a strong case. Those are the big stuff, also every email I ever sent her, I received a prompt response back, even one Friday evening. I wouldn't expect my doctor to get back to as quick as Sara has. If anyone reads this review, please understand, you will not find a better person to represent you, there is not a single thing she could have done better. Today my husband is a permanent resident.

Sara has been very diligent and highly compassionate in dealing with my case. She is sincere and an excellent lawyer. Before i retained Sara Bartos and team, every immigration filling i submitted since 2001 was denied. In 2012 i was apprehended by ICE and taken to an immigration detention center. For me, that was it, so i hired the office of Sara Bartos. From the get go, i noticed the professionalism and thoroughnes...s was different from previous lawyers i hired. She looked at all available options, then was able to get me out of detention, then got me approved for U Visa, then the most important part got the DHS to join us to have the BIA re-open and terminate my old immigration case. This was one the greatest turn around in my life, it was a miracle in the sense that i already have a family founded in US and didn't want to be deported and live my family behind. I've worked with Sara for the past 3 years when she represented me in the lengthy and sometimes frustrating process of adjusting my status in US (I-485). Sara proved to be a very knowledgeable and resourceful attorney, patiently offering competent answers to all my legal questions. I was particularly... impressed by her promptitude and her excellent turnaround time (not only once she replied to my emails at 4:00 am and it never took her more than a couple of hours to answer my questions). I was also very impressed with how precise she is. Sara would calendar everything and would make sure that the day the USCIS listed "processing time" would expire, she would submit an inquiry or use her alternative resources for the next appropriate action. Sara also proved to be an excellent coach for the interview that I had with the USCIS officer. She also represented me during this interview, taking notes the whole time and scrutinizing the legitimacy of the officer's questions. After the interview, she made sure to HAND DELIVER all the inquiries and additional paperwork to the USCIS office, attaching very compelling cover letters. Another thing that I truly appreciated about Sara is the fact that she never pushed me to take additional legal actions (which would have come at a steep price) without exhausting all the existing options (e.g. filing a mandamus case in a federal court before allowing an appropriate response time from USCIS). Bottom line: Sara is a top-notch attorney and, if your case ever stands a chance, she is the best legal counsel you can get.
