I contacted Melissa to discuss post-decree custody issues. I wasn’t sure what my options were. My relationship with my ex wasn’t great, but I also wanted to do everything in my power to maintain any respect we could salvage. Melissa was very helpful in bringing my rather messy divorce to a close. I had another attorney who was like a bulldozer and my ex's attorney was like a steamroller... and between the two of them it was a violent standstill. Melissa was recommended by another law firm that could not take my case, she is that amazing. She helped me with a long, unnecessarily drawn out divorce. She presents as someone who commands respect without losing her humanity in such a difficult profession to maintain such. She is brilliant and quick on her feet, which means she gets things done quicker, definitely significantly quicker than my ex-husband’s attorney. While the dynamics of my divorce, due to the issues and the other, rather inconsiderate attorneys contributed to the divorce being long, it was evident that Melissa’s objective was to be efficient and keep the divorce cost down for me. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

If you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing to file for divorce, make a plan and call Melissa. She will take care of meeting all the legal requirements and provide direction on what to do and when, getting you more easily through a difficult process as quickly and low cost as pos...sible. She handled many of the stressful "in person" court appearances and meetings with my ex and kept things moving along even when my ex was difficult, argumentative and insulting.
