Going through a divorce with kids is one of the most emotionally trying journey, to say the least. I had another lawyer before Melissa that did not understand the impact this was having on me and my kids. The law changed in 2017, and my ex husband was dragging out the process, and I needed someone ...who understood how to position me to get the divorce done quickly and agreeable for the life of my kids. Melissa was a terrific advocate for me in my Allocation Judgement case. I was never married, but my daughter’s mother and I had been broken up for 11 years, during which we handled all scheduling on our own, with no legal agreement. I contacted Melissa to discuss post-decree custody issues. I wasn’t sure what my options were.
