Melissa Veronica Caballero

Melissa was very helpful in bringing my rather messy divorce to a close. I had another attorney who was like a bulldozer and my ex's attorney was like a steamroller... and between the two of them it was a violent standstill. So I reached out to Melissa on the advice of several other attorneys who ha...d nothing but good things to say about her. Melissa was very calm and level headed about the entire affair. She didn't get emotional or excited by the opposing attorney's threats and bluster. She made recommendations about what I should fight for and what to let go. In my particular case, my ex just wouldn't let anything go and it seemed like she was trying to drag it on forever, but I think Melissa brought it to the swiftest end possible. Divorce was a horrible experience for me (I think for most of us), but I wish I had known about and chosen Melissa from the start.

Melissa was recommended by another law firm that could not take my case, she is that amazing. She helped me with a long, unnecessarily drawn out divorce. I was willing to give up so much, financially to end the divorce early but Melissa wouldn’t allow it. I am now glad for it. I know she acted in the... highest good for myself and my son. She is extremely intelligent and can see through issues with laser beam clarity. She is very personable and has a gift of working well with other attorneys. The other two attorneys were difficult and eccentric and she handled them with ease. She presents as someone who commands respect without losing her humanity in such a difficult profession to maintain such. She is brilliant and quick on her feet, which means she gets things done quicker, definitely significantly quicker than my ex-husband’s attorney. While the dynamics of my divorce, due to the issues and the other, rather inconsiderate attorneys contributed to the divorce being long, it was evident that Melissa’s objective was to be efficient and keep the divorce cost down for me. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Melissa represented me in my divorce. There was not only property to deal with but also a child and she helped me navigate this difficult time with compassion and grace. She fought for and won the battles that mattered and directed me in areas that I could be less ridged. This allowed my ex-wife and... I to maintain a cordial relationship through out the process.
