Maura Yusof

I am an attorney with over 18 years experience in complex commercial, civil litigation and business consulting, including cannabis and medical marijuana law. I represent corporations, small businesses, professionals and governmental entities in contract negotiations, complex commercial litigation matters, and for professional liability, product liability and civil defense litigation. I also have experience and have presented on emerging issues for employers’ and healthcare professionals’ compliance with Illinois’ medical cannabis laws and regulations.

Authorized to practice law in Illinois (2002) and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois (Trial Bar and General Bar), Central District of Illinois, Southern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Wisconsin, Western District of
Wisconsin, and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

A tidbit of information about me - I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and came to the U.S.A. in 1979 as a result of the Soviet war. I speak Dari, the dialect of Persian spoken in Afghanistan. Of all places, I grew up in the wonderful area of greater Overland Park/Shawnee, Kansas.
