I had the pleasure of working with Josephine in the summer of 2022 on behalf of custody issues. Any legal issues regarding children are very delicate. The original attorney I worked with years ago, had completely failed me. This made it all the more crucial that I found the right person who would hel...p my daughter. Working with Josephine was nothing like my former attorney. I'm grateful for her work on my daughter's case. She's an excellent attorney who does everything necessary, and more to help the best interest of the child. I went through issues where I had to contact her during holiday arrangements. Even then, she always came through. When it's your child, you want someone who will truly show up and help guide you through it all. She is intelligent, readily available and responsive, and she puts in the work to make sure the absolute best decisions for your child are upheld. It's been a year since I was in court with her, and I reached out to her this morning for help. As always, she replied right back and scheduled a time to talk. Family Law is the department where you need someone to be there when you need them, and she truly is. You can count on her to help you and your child through some of the toughest decisions and family matters.

Josie Norton is your go-to family attorney; very professional, direct and fast. I have an extremely difficult and disrespectful co-parent to deal with. My co-parent has also been disrespectful to Josie, but even under those situations, she handles it professionally. She gives 100% especially when it ...matters the most in the courtroom. Communication is very direct, straightforward and consistent. She responds in a timely matter, which is important when there is so much going on. Josephine represented me during my child custody and child support case. The thing that impressed me most about Josephine is that nothing is "sugar coated". She was honest, straight forward, and told me what to expect each step of the way. I had to find a new lawyer last minute and Josephine was referred to me by a friend. If I could have had her in the first place I wish I could’ve went back in time and picked her! Where to start other than Mrs. Norton is hands down, one of the most exceptional and insightful attorneys I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I was impressed by the level of intelligence in family law, and her devotion to the clients like myself is nothing short of amazing. After doing some t...eaching years ago, one learns just how much they don’t know about a particular subject matter, but when I would ask all sorts of questions, or just explaining to me the various aspects of the case, it is clear she has a thorough and true understanding of the law, and one better, explain it in a way that people like me who are not attorneys can easily understand. One of her many great attributes, is the immaculate attention to details. Catching even the smallest of details, was nothing short of awesome. There were several times, Mrs. Norton would find little changes made by the other attorney that could make a big impact such as the words “shall” vs “must” I believe was one. Sometimes it was changing a few small and subtle words in one of the paragraphs that would make lasting changes in how or when I get to see my kids. She is prompt with deadlines all while showing compassion for the client in what is I’m sure undoubtably a very difficult time depending on the circumstances. For myself, I have never been through a divorce before, and with kids involved, was most definitely navigating through some difficult times. As timelines changed towards the end of the case, and as things became more dynamic and fast paced, she never skipped a beat, or missed a deadline no matter the circumstances, or how difficult I may have made things. She was there to help, give me sound advice every step of the way. Mrs. Norton’s ability to deal with opposing counsel, no matter if they are friendly or strenuous, is by far none, amazing. With my case, especially in the final days of the case, the opposing counsel started to be difficult to work with, and she is ready and prepared for those situations. I did not know what all was involved in a divorce, and I do thank my lucky stars that I found Mrs. Norton. She guided me all the way through the process, gives sound advice, and unequivocally forever grateful for the outcomes as a result.
