When your priority date is current, if you otherwise qualify, you can file an adjustment of status.

If they did not enter with a visa, don't do anything without first consulting with a lawyer. A wrong application could get them deported.

You can file while they are here if you want. Or you can wait. It depends on how soon you want them to immigrate.

Depends on the purpose of the trips and whys ties you had to the US. Definitely not the application to try alone.

You cannot appeal. When you become a US citizen you should reapply.
