No other way. Your employer can continue to employ based on the EAD. It can take an additional 6+ months.

Did it reach there on the day it expires or did you mail it on that day? It mailed, it is not considered timely. If reached then yes.

She may be able to come on a visitor visa and get married and then return but I would suggest you be very careful.
