Andy Lau

Andy Lau practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and business law. He drafts wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. His practice commonly involves asset protection, probate, real estate, business succession planning, general corporate law, and business transactions, including partnerships and limited liability companies. He also organizes family limited partnerships and drafts life insurance trusts and special needs trusts for disabled persons. Andy practices tax law in the areas of gift and estate taxation.

Andy graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Loyola University of Chicago and received the degree of Juris Doctor, from Chicago-Kent School of Law. Andy is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Asian-American Bar Association and the Chinese-American Bar Association. Within the Chicago Bar Association, Andy participates in the Young Lawyers Section Estate Planning Committee, the Trust Law Committee, and the Probate Practice Committee. Andy is also a member of the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, and speaks Cantonese.
