Todd Brandt McCartney

Todd McCartney, founder of McCartney Law Group, LLC, has been a dedicated attorney for nearly 35 years, focusing extensively in DUI, criminal defense, and personal injury cases. A native of Chicago’s western suburbs, Mr. McCartney graduated from Glenbard West High School and Wheaton College before earning his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1988. While in law school, he honed his skills as a law clerk at Sachs & Hess in Indiana and Pretzel & Stouffer in Chicago, where he later began his legal career.

Mr. McCartney’s extensive career includes a successful period in the securities industry and roles at prominent law firms such as Ramsell & Associates in Wheaton, Illinois. He co-founded Hamilton McCartney Law Group, LLC, before establishing McCartney Law Group, LLC, where he focuses on defending clients against charges ranging from DUI and domestic violence to drug offenses and murder. Renowned for his ability to reduce felony charges to misdemeanors and his strong trial results, Mr. McCartney is committed to keeping clients informed throughout their cases.
