Not a 'vigorous advocate' in my experience at least. He accepted my case but essentially insisted that I just had to be put though the process of being charged despite the fact that I was nearly choked to death by the man who got me arrested for a self-defense bruise. Being practical is good, tellin...g clients they have to suck it up when it comes to injustice is not. I spent 6 hours in the hospital and couldn't take a bar exam the following week because my eyes were too badly swollen and the pain from one of my ribs being smashed into an entirely different shape was too great. Tom and his staff never attempted to take it seriously and failed twice to alert me of changes in court dates although that's practically the only thing I asked them to do after paying them. He's not too interested in representing anyone who thinks they might have been mistreated by police, which is an interesting position to take in 2020 to say the least.
