Following an incident that happened in 2003, I was declared inadmissible in 2012 by the Us consular in Nigeria. I needed to sort this out because my offence was a naïve mistake with no criminal intent but I had no clue how to go about it. I found Mike Baker via Google. A few other USA... based attorneys I contacted were reluctant to deal with me considering I was based in far away Nigeria. I gave him a call and Mr. Baker asked me to send a mail stating my case. After a few days and a series of telephone calls he accepted to handle my case but sternly requested I be very honest and straight forward with him. All correspondences were via telephone calls and emails. We never had a face to face meeting as I was based in Lagos Nigeria. We started the process in April 2014 and I formally requested for the waiver in September 2014 at the consular in Nigeria. . I got my waiver approved in January 2015 (4 MONTHS).
