Izabela Krawiec

Izabela Krawiec joined the Law Offices of J. Jeltes in 2016 as a Law Clerk and was promoted to Associate Attorney in November 2018, after passing the Illinois bar exam. Izabela’s passion for helping families through life transitions began at her first law office job back in 2009, when she started as a Legal Secretary at a firm in Chicago, Illinois. Izabela is a fluent Polish speaker. Her areas of practice include family law, guardianship, adoption, estate planning, and probate.

Izabela earned her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, having graduated in the top 15% of her class. She received her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Dominican University, which she finds to be a great asset when dealing with high-conflict family law, divorce, and probate matters. Throughout her studies, Izabela continued to gain invaluable experience and to grow her passion for family law and estate planning by working as a Law Clerk and interning for the Chicago-Kent Tax Clinic. Izabela also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in Family Law and Land Use courses.

When she is not working, Izabela loves to dance, cook/bake, travel the world with her husband, and spend time with her family and friends. Being very proud of her Polish heritage, she is always looking for ways to volunteer and enhance the Polish community in the Chicagoland area.
