I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and graduated from University of Illinois College of Law. Before becoming a lawyer I spent seven years as an active duty naval officer, completing tours on a destroyer, a minesweeper and at Naval Station, Great Lakes, Illinois.
My tour at Great Lakes is what brought me to the Chicago area. After being admitted to the Illinois bar, I moved to Chicago to begin my legal career. In 2012, I partnered with a law school classmate to form Venis and Copp LLP. We have served the needs of clients in Chicago for more than three years and becoming a small business owner has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my working life.
My practice includes representing individuals and businesses in banktruptcy, estate planning and probate, litigation real estate, education law and traffic violations.
We offer free initial consulations to prosective clients and offer a variety of fee arrangements. We accept payment by all major credit cards and by PayPal.

Turan, I am sorry that you came away with a negative impression of me. And I do apologize for the delay with the documents. As I explained to you, I did not receive your second document. I reviewed it as soon as you sent it to me, and I called you back promptly. I also did answer your question, which you rephrased several times. And that is why I apparently sounded annoyed towards the end of the call. If you want to discuss this question further, please feel free to reach out to me. Best regards, Frank Venis

Outstanding attorney
Mr. Venis reviewed my employment contract prior to joining a large, multispecialty medical practice in the Chicagoland area. He was thorough in his review of the contract, knowledgeable in his understanding of important facets (compensation, malpractice insurance, etc.) that needed to be addressed i...

Excellent experience from start to finish
I was in a sticky situation when I found Frank. My previous bankruptcy attorney had been anything but helpful, and had all but abandoned me when I needed him the most. I was very lucky to find Frank at that point. Once we were able to remove my previous attorney from my case, he helped me convert ...

"It's rare that you come across standout talent like Frank. We have collaborated on several cases, and I call him whenever I need help. I am particularly impressed that Frank never hesitates to take on a case, no matter how complex. I just feel at ease working with him, he is unflappable and very easy to get along with."
"I endorse this lawyer. Frank pays special attention to detail and goes the distance to fight for his clients."
