Very Helpful and easy to work with

We've engaged David on several employees immigration issues and had nothing but excellent service. Sometimes the employees get up tight and think there is something wrong because they had not heard anything in a while. Guess what? The government moves slow! David's piloted us through all the roug...h waters and i would recommend him to anyone.

DISAPPOINTING

I WAS RECOMMENDED TO DAVID BY A COUPLE OF PEOPLE WHO HAD AVAILED OF HIS SERVICES IN THE PAST. ALTHOUGH HE WAS EAGER IN THE BEGINNING TO TAKE UP MY CASE, THE RESPONSES FROM HIM BECAME INCREASINGLY CURT IN THE FORM OF ONE SYLLABLE OR ONE LINE ANSWERS FOR QUESTIONS I RAISED IN EMAILS (ONE EMAIL PROBABLY... EVERY 6 MONTHS). AS FAR AS PHONE CALLS ARE CONCERNED, YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT IT AS HE NEVER TAKES A CALL ONCE HE HAS SPOKEN WITH INITIALLY AND GOTTEN YOUR BUSINESS. LASTLY, I HAD TO KEEP REMINDING HIM TO UPDATE ME ON WHAT THE STATUS OF MY CASE WAS FROM TIME TO TIME TO CHECK ON OVERALL PROCESS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR SOUND IMMIGRATION ADVICE OR WANTS THEIR LAWYER TO BE PROACTIVE.

Stay away

I saw his posts at Lawbench and contacted him for a straight forward immigration case. He quoted the lowest fees than any other lawyer I had spoken to. But boy! You get what you pay for. All the forms prepared by his firm were full of errors and mistakes. I had to go back and forth with his legal ass...istant in correcting the forms. Dealing with him or his firm was not pleasant at all. He would never take my calls. I had to communicate with him through email. He was very rude at times. Will never go back to him or recommend anyone using his services.

Simply the best!

Absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, responsive, trustworthy. After working with 3 different lawyers, I was referred to Mr. Rubman. Case, that no lawyer would even consider taking, was handled like it was a piece of cake.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
