Mr. Mohammed was hired at the very last minute, meaning months before my loved one's initial trail date. The amount of compassion and empathy shown to my family and our relative was emasculate. Saani, thinks critically while showing compassion. He prepared us for each court date and explained the co...mplexity of the nature of the case very well and in terms that we understood. My loved one never walked into the courtroom unprepared, and he never left us in the dark about what is to come. I enjoyed the fact that he provided mini law lessons that I would never forget. His wisdom and professionalism were unmatched; he returns email and phone calls in a timely manner. We knew about every single motion filed and what he was going to address in the courtroom. He is assertive, calm and direct during the murder trial. We wished we would have hired him earlier on but financial we were not in the space to do so. Our loved one verdict was not what we deserved but the fight isn't over. We truly appreciate Saani, he's an amazing defense attorney for young African American men, with challenging cases. His demeanor works for the population he serves. Our loved one had one of the toughest judges within Cook County court system ( Neera Walsh, courtroom 400) please get your loved one's case reassigned ASAP. Yet, he still did extremely well within his timeframe and the prosectors knew that he served them well during trial. The most thoughtful gesture from him to our family was him calling us after our loved one was sentenced to check in with us. I hope we don't have to utilize him again in the criminal aspect because he has other areas of expertise. If so, it would be an honor for him to represent myself or family members.
