Matthew Thomas Dicianni

I focus my practice on litigation, labor and employment, and local government matters. I have a significant  amount of litigation experience, prosecuting hundreds of local ordinance violations for municipalities. I have also written and argued dozens of motions, written several appellate briefs, and taken cases through trial.

I also have advised clients on a range of labor and employment issues. These issues include compliance with ERISA, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. I have created affirmative action policies, advised clients on employment discrimination issues, and drafted non-compete agreements. I also write a weekly article on Ancel Glink’s labor and  employment blog, The Workplace Report, where I discuss legal issues relevant to both employers and employees. 

I also advise local governments on a variety of issues, including finance, land use and zoning, and their obligations under the Freedom of Information Act and the Open Meetings Act.
