DO NOT USE MAHDIS AZIMI - HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A WASTE OF MONEY. Update 7.25.23 - Finally Mahdis responded to an email after posting this review and asking for a response before we sought to file a for a complaint. She has dropped our case, and still has yet to provide us a tracking number ...for our case she claims she has filed. We are now 6 months in, with no progress and nothing to show for it, and now we are out several thousand dollars. Save your money and yourself a ton of stress and find someone else. Update 7.25.23 - Still no response from Mahdis. We have sent 9 email requests so far for tracking information for something she claims she sent on 6/28. 7.22.23 - My husband and I first met with Mahdis on January 21st, 2023 to help us file for his citizenship. As of this writing, we still have no confirmation that our case was filed other than an email where she stated as such. But she certainly was responsive if money was due. We have asked for tracking information for over a month and she is always unable to provide it citing excuses every time. It's now been 2 weeks since she even last responded to us. No excuses, no reasoning, just silence. She is very quick to email and respond when a payment is due, however after you pay that, prepare for long breaks in hearing from her - however God forbid that you take any time, she will call you out on it and blame you for delays. She originally told us in an email that everything should be filled before the end of April, that never happened. I met with her (after her canceling last minute on a meeting) to discuss communication and transparency, and that did no good whatsoever. We gave our final greenlight on forms on 5/27 and she finally stated that it was mailed in an email on 6/21. We requested a copy of the forms (which was promised way before this) and it wasn't until 6/28 that they were sent. Since then, we have been asking for a tracking number so we can follow it, and she is unable to provide that after multiple requests. Do your due diligence and google her name and look at other complaints before hiring her. We certainly wished we would have done that before paying her a penny.

I hired Ms. Azimi to help with coverage for an overwhelming number of naturalization interviews we had scheduled in a single day. She was consummately professional and took great notes. She handled some complex cases very well, and all of the cases went as expected. Since then, I have worked with her... on several cases, and I am continually impressed at her knowledge of immigration law, her work ethic, and commitment to her clients. I am a nonprofit immigration attorney, and whenever we have clients who either are beyond our income guidelines or who we cannot represent due to capacity issues, Ms. Azimi is typically my primary referral. She is a great attorney, and I would recommend anyone with any type of immigration needs to seek her help.

Green Card holder for 20+ years, time to apply for Citizenship. Before I could, I needed an Exemption Certificate from Military Draft, (being over 50 yrs old ) on entry. Nobody knew what this was, but Mahdis did. Right off the bat, she downloaded the necessary & I was off to the races. Mahdis kept me... informed at all times & things went very smoothly. The the experience was real good. I will be taking my Citizenship Oath in 4 days & am grateful to Mahdis & will recommend her without reservation.

Mahdis acted as my lawyer for my immigration case. I had started my process of obtaining a green card in October 2014 by March 2016 I had still not received my green card, I had been given no explanation as to why I had not received is the usual processing time is eight months. I meet and hired Ma...hdis in March 2016, from day one she was extremely helpful extremely knowledgeable and extremely professional. I will not go into all the details of my case but I am happy to say that on December 30th 2016 I received my green card. I feel it is important to mention I already had an immigration lawyer but they could not figure out why there was a delay, Mahdis was able to do this in a very short amount of time. My wife (who is American) and I could not recommend Mahdis highly enough she went above and beyond and really put us at ease during a very difficult and stressful time in our lives.
