One needs a physical EAD card, unless the employer is OK with just the approval notice.

I applied for my spouse I130 pettion and i received the receipt of the pettion with her full name just missing her middle name

Not an issue. Going foreword make sure you are inputting wife’s full name

Fine. Have the SEVIS, Newly issued I-20, on hand when you travel and the unexpired F-1 visa to show to CBP.
