Before law school, Amanda built a distinguished career in higher education — teaching at Washington State University and serving as president of multiple colleges across Illinois and Indiana. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Communication from Washington State University, a Doctorate of Education from Northern Illinois University, and a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline University.
Amanda is a member of the Justice Entrepreneurs Project, recipient of the Spirit of the JEP Award, and was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court Task Force on Remote Court Access — recognizing her as a leading voice in expanding access to justice across Illinois.
