A FIERCE advocate in designer shoes!

My first divorce attorney was a competent nice guy, too nice. My ex’s attorney was a pit bull. I realized I needed an attorney that would fight for an equitable division of assets. Fortunately, I discovered and hired Tracy. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she consistently kept me inform...ed and patiently explained the divorce process to me. She definitely cares about her clients and will fight for you. The highest compliment I can give her is after the divorce, my ex asked “why did I hired her? She was relentless!” I highly recommend her.

She's the best!

Tracy is extremely knowledgeable about the law, carefully looks out for her client's best interests and is able to deal with angry, obstructive ex-spouses who go through multiple attorneys with calm fierceness. Not only is she a great attorney, but she's also a good person--when my ex became abusive ...to one of his (many) attorneys, Tracy offered the woman some kind, professional advice about how to manage difficult clients. My less-than-lovely ex hates her because with her on my side, he couldn't bully his ridiculous demands into reality. Hire her! Also, listen to her advice! You won't be disappointed.

THE BEST

There are many challenges that come with a divorce. I truly was scared to death to even contact a lawyer. Tracy was recommended to me by another lawyer because I needed a Cook County attorney. Tracy contacted me right away; faster than I was prepared for. She was so kind, knowledgeable and profess...ional. I needed extra help because I have a special needs child. Tracy handled everything and provided for things I never even thought of. She was my advocate and made sure my children and I were taken care of. I would highly highly recommend to anyone needing a Family Law Attorney Tracy Rizzo. I actually was sad when my divorce was final because I knew I wouldn't be talking to her on a regular basis. SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST!!!!!!!!!!!

Trust Trust Trust

I have been a client of Tracy's for 2 years now. I have had representation in the past with other attorneys for visitation issues etc... To me there is no bigger quality than being able to trust your attorney. You can trust Tracy to remain calm and professional in highly emotional situations. You ca...n trust Tracy to be quick on her feet and show her intelligence in a variety of situations. You can trust her to only bill you for hours that are needed, You can trust her to give you the proper advise even if it's something you may not want to hear. Court is probably one of the most frustrating things I've had to experience. I can honestly say having Tracy in your corner will give you the confidence that you hired the right person for the job. I have and will continue to advise those seeking representation for divorce matters to contact Tracy. It's all about trust.

Best thing to happen to me during one of the worst times of my life!

I had the good fortune of being connected with Tracy after a failed attempt at collaborative divorce, and my second attorney only trying to settle my case quickly without thinking of what my children and I needed or were entitled to. He didn't even require my ex to obtain another attorney which is r...equired once you leave the collaborative process nor did he do any discovery to determine what is a fair and equitable split of finances. Tracy's first step was to ensure that my ex followed the law and required him to obtain another attorney. Tracy immediately began the discovery process (which had not been completed by either of my other attorneys) and obtained an emergency support order as my husband was not paying what he should have been paying to support his family. Tracy is extremely thorough and ensures that no stone is unturned. Her background in private investigation enhances her ability to serve in a legal capacity. One thing I admire most about Tracy is that her goal was to ensure that my children and I would be taken care of now and in the future without pitting my ex and me against each other which would only have made the attorneys richer. Tracy can easily handle cases where there are stocks, stock options, pensions, and 401k plans to distribute equitably. If forensic accounting is needed, I would completely trust her to uncover any hidden assets. What I ended up with was ten times what the second attorney wanted me to settle for, which, based on my ex-husband's earnings, was fair and equitable. I didn't want to gouge my ex, just wanted a fair and equitable settlement. As a stay-at-home parent who gave up a career to advance my ex-husband's career, this made me feel secure in my future financial position and my re-entry into the workforce. Tracy thought of everything when it came to the parenting agreement as well. I walked away feeling completely comfortable with our settlement and parenting agreement for our family. Tracy has integrity, is very thorough, and fair. I highly recommend Tracy!
