Experienced, smart and empathetic

Stephanie is experienced, extremely smart and empathetic. I called her on a friend's recommendation after receiving a missive from the ARDC and she immediately eased my anxiety and got to work. She had the patience of a saint as I battled a round of covid and then did everything I could to avoid her... and ignore the peril I was in. Thankfully she persisted and when I finally realized the situation wasn't going to disappear on its own, Stephanie helped me resolve the issue without any action by the ARDC. She is not just the best ARDC lawyer I've worked with, she is one of the best attorneys I've worked with, period.

I highly recommend Stephanie. She represented me regarding an ARDC Inquiry. She promptly took my call and explained the process and possible outcomes to me. She quickly drafted a well written response to the inquiry. She had a detailed strategy, and also a back-up strategy in case the proceedings wen...t farther. She was kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental. She answered all of my questions right away. Her knowledge of the inner workings of the ARDC from her experience as a prosecutor was extremely helpful and reassuring. As a result of Stephanie's prompt and thorough actions, my inquiry was closed quickly. I could go on and on about my positive experience with her. Stephanie truly is top notch.

Professional and and expert service re. ARDC complaints

I can't say enough good things about Ms. Stewart and the manner in which she handled an ARDC inquiry I received. She got the ball rolling immediately and took care of everything. Her institutional knowledge of the inner workings of the ARDC office plus her several years practicing these claims led t...o a quick resolution of the inquiry. I hope am never in this position again, but God forbid I am I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Excellent ARDC Lawyer

I made an error with my IOLTA account and had an appointment with her the same day my 14 day letter arrived. Stephanie was calm and reassuring from the outset. She answers her own phone and responds promptly to emails meaning I was not waiting days for a response. Her retainer was reasonable and... she would point out where I could save on legal fees. Most importantly she got the file closed before it passed the intake stage. I would recommend any attorney who is dealing with the ARDC to talk to Stephanie.

Highly Recommended

Stephanie Stewart-Page did a remarkable job for me with my application for admission to the Illinois Bar. I had a very difficult case in front of the full character & fitness hearing panel and she led me to a fantastic unanimous decision in favor of my admission. Stephanie has tremendous knowledge ...of the entire process and lots of experience with these types of proceedings. She recognized the pertinent issues and implemented the best possible strategy. Throughout the entire process, she was always open to suggestions and her level of responsiveness was top-notch. On a personal level, I felt like she advocated for me as if I were a family member. That's how much my case seemed to matter to her. I could go on and on with all the positives but I fear I would run out of room. The bottom line is that I highly recommend Stephanie Stewart-Page to anyone who is confronting a character & fitness issue and/or navigating their application for admission with the Illinois Bar.
