Biography
Rosaire Nottage has practiced family law exclusively for more than 25 years. She has significant expertise in the valuation and division of marital estates, child custody determination, and maintenance awards. Ms. Nottage is recognized as one of Chicago’s most experienced trial lawyers in domestic relations and is known for her ability to handle complex financial litigation.
After receiving her Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in 1976, Ms. Nottage began her career as an associate at the Chicago firm of Bell, Boyd and Lloyd where she became an equity partner in 1983. She is currently a member of the Federal Trial Bar, the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
Ms. Nottage is a regular lecturer on trial practice in divorce cases, pre-trial preparation, current case law trends, and other topics related to the practice of family law for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Illinois Bar Association, the Illinois CPA Society, as well as Gitlin on Divorce – Family Law Seminar. Additionally, Ms. Nottage has been recognized as one of the Top Ten Divorce Lawyers in Chicago by the Chicago Sun-Times and has been featured as an expert in divorce articles in the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Tribune Magazine.
