Defense of national not-for-profit in suit brought by U.S. Attorney resulting in favorable settlement. Defense of individual in ERISA claim. Represented plaintiffs in actions to enforce civil and employment-related rights including under the Family and Medical Leave Act. Represented individuals in constitutional litigation. Cases in state court including defense against claims of breach of fiduciary duty, prosecution of wrongful termination case, and union democracy plaintiff.

Prosecuted claims in federal court for race discrimination, state disparate impact, gender discrimination, retaliation, and claims under Title VI and VII, and arising under 42 U.S.C. sec. 1981 and 1983. Prosecution of state claims for retaliatory/wrongful discharge.

Multiple cases arising under the federal WARN Act. Work on other consumer class action and "impact" litigation against private and state actors.

Extensive representation of union under Railway Labor Act in multiple district courts, multiple appellate courts, and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Ongoing representation of multiple unions including work on union democracy, internal governance, contested NLRB hearings, elections, and Unfair Labor Practices.
