Kathryn Weber gets my highest recommendation

Kathryn was recommended to me by a friend's attorney and I have to say that retaining her and the law firm of Scott D. Pollock was one of the smartest decisions I have ever made. My case was riddled with complications - and to make matters worse, we had only a few days to prepare and submit the n...ecessary paperwork. I am not exaggerating when I say that it literally came down to the last day. If the receipt date had been a day later, my application would likely have been rejected. Facing a time crunch, Kathryn was relentless in following up to get the necessary supporting documents. If it wasn't for her dogged determination I doubt we would have got the paperwork together in the short time we had available to us. Kathryn was very quick to identifiy each risk factor in my case and formulate the appropriate counter-strategy. You can spend hours explaining your circumstances to an inexperienced attorney who still may not grasp the important facts, or spend 5 minutes speaking to an attorney like Kathryn who gets it immediately. She is a rare breed who is compassionate and understanding but demanding and a straightshooter at the same time. When you have spent 10+ years working in this country towards building a life and fututre here as I have done, there's too much at stake and really there's no room for error. You want to put yourself in the hands of a knowledgeable and experienced attorney who is going to give you the best chance of winning a favourable decision - and in my case, that was Kathryn.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
