I recommend you to stay as far away from this practice as you can! I was represented by this practice and they did a terrible job for me! I was rear-ended while waiting to turn left with my turn signal on, I was completely in the right! They did a terrible job and I got a terrible settlement! There w...asn't even anything extra after my medical bills, in fact I don't even think they got the whole medical total! When the trial date came up an attorney I never met showed up, it wasn't Jeffery, it was an associate that just got hired that didn't even know me! This practice did not care about me at all! Past performance is the best prediction for future performance, stay away!

I retained his services in Aug of 2011 for an assault that took place in July of 2011. He gladly agreed to take my case without having the police report in hand. I was informed by him when he got my statement and the police report that I am guilty and he was rewriting my statement. He told me that th...e attack was all my fault for not leaving the room. I asked for it becuse I did nothing to stop it from happening. I was further instructed to come up with a settlement amount I was seeking without any guidence from him. I faxed my pruposal to him and got a phone call the next morning from him screaming at me,. He told me I was crazy and my case was worthless and I am guilty because I asked for it. He had me in tears as I was driving home from counceling. He never returns phone calls, he says he is working on your case when infact he is not. I terminated his services for the 2nd time in Sept of 2012 and demaned a final bill for services and he stated to me that there was no bill because he had done nothing on the case. I asked him what do you mean there is no bill. He said to me over the phone "what am I going to do, bill your 1 or 2 phone calls?" He told me there was no final bill because nothing was done to it.

If I could give them negative starts I would. I contacted them because I was looking for a contingency firm to take over a current legal malpractice case we have filed. During our conversation I I explained our current attorney charges hourly so we DO NOT want you to call them until we decide what ...firm we decide to hire. We explained to them that we were interviewing other attorneys. The attorney promised me he would not call my current attorney without my permission. We continued our conversation and before the call ended I again reiterated to please do not call our current attorney. He again promised me that no one from his firm would call my attorney. He called me back that same day and said they would like to take the case. I told him I am interviewing other attorneys and I will let you know if we decide to hire you. Our interactions should have ended there. However, another lawyer from their firm called me three days later telling me again they would like to take my case. I , again, Jeff Deutschman himself that "okay, I am interviewing other attorney's and I will let you know if we decide to go with your firm". The kicker here is I get my monthly bill from my current lawyer and there is $100.00 charge for a phone call with Jeff Deutschman in regards to my case. Yes, folks that is right he did exactly what I asked him not to do and they promised they would not do. I contacted them twice confronting them and they ignored me. I then filed a complaint with the ARDC. They have tried telling the ARDC that I never told them that I was interviewing other attorneys and they said I never asked them not to call our attorney. They completely lied to the ARDC and pretty much called me the liar. The Audacity!!! These attorneys are officers of the court. They take an oath to tell the truth! RUN as far as you can from this firm and it's attorney's. Untrustworthy and and clearly have no respect for their clients or potential clients.
