For some individuals, and their employment situations, federal litigation is the right way to go  -  and I am ready, willing, and able to press forward in that direction.  Other times there are other options that make sense to explore instead/ first, such as behind-the-scenes advice (employers get advice from their attorneys; why shouldn’t you?), direct verbal and written communications with the employer, contract and severance negotiation, mediation, pursuing EEOC charges, etc.
