At Some Point You Have to Shut Up and Trust Your Attorney

If your in for the legal battle of yours and your children's life, at some point your going to have to live with your decision on the attorney you picked. You will be in too deep to turn back or change counsel and you will reach the jumping off point where you will have no choice but to trust your ...attorney and stop trying to steer his every decision. At some point you will have to step back and let him do the job you hired him to do. Without a doubt, Cory is the attorney you want talking to your Judge, GAL and the other attorney from the very beginning(not you!). I have been back to Court through the years with custody issues and Cory and Badesch Abramovitch and Natalie Darcy are a top notch firm that knows how to give their clients the best shot at an outcome they can be happy with. Cory has represented me for years(as a result of recurring issues) and the results he has delivered time and again are nothing less than the best. Don't believe those bad reviews, look no further than Cory and B&A. Hiring Cory and the money I've spent while legal battles aren't cheap was best decision I've ever made.

Excellent Lawyer

Cory was originally referred to me my a friend that went to law school with Cory. Cory helped me in various aspects of child custody issues for almost 4 years. Cory had excellent advice and was great at navigating the legal system. He was very personable and great at remembering all of the details of... my case (even though there were many months that he only worked 3 hours for me). He offered me advice, but then listened to what I wanted, even if it went against his advice. Though lawyers are by definition expensive, I appreciated how fast Cory put together documents and how fair he was in his billing. There were many times that Cory assembled a very long document in less than an hour. One should always try to stay out of the courts, but if you do need a lawyer, I highly recommend Cory.

Child Custody

I hired Cory to get custody of my daughter that i was alienated from since birth. After 9 months of filing court order after court order (the mother left the state during the case, and would not comply) Cory produced the result i asked for. I gained custody of my daughter. Although i was frustrated a...nd anxious throughout the ordeal, I had a great client-attorney relationship with Cory. He returned emails and calls when he was able, and if he didn't, his office would respond with his answer to my questions. I would say that initially i was caught off guard with some of the charges on my bill. I quickly learned to choose very carefully what communications/actions were necessary and which were not. However, i was billed fairly, and he even worked with my situation and allowed me to make payments to continue the case. I was very fortunate to find Cory; my case was complex and got more complicated as time went by. Everyone wants a legal issue to be handled cheaply, and with just a small amount of money (even me). Sometimes, that isn't possible. However, the money i paid was absolutely well spent. After everything was said and done, his work and advice is the reason i have the chance to raise my daughter to be who she is today; my family is complete. Thanks, Cory.

One of the best in the business! Cory gets my highest praise and my strongest recommendations!

Cory came into the picture after my case was already about 7 months into things. He helped get a pretty horrible situation under control from the very start. My original visitation order was VERY limited, 2 hours every other weekend. Cory was able to get a temporary visitation order put through ve...ry quickly which got me much more time with my daughter. From there he guided me through more than a year of fighting my case. His expertise made one of the most stressful periods of my life easier to deal with. My first attorney was an example of how bad a bad lawyer can be, but Cory showed me what proper representation is. My case is now complete, and I have Cory to thank for getting me joint custody, fair visitation, and stopping my daughter from being moved across the country. I could not be happier with the results. Words simply cannot express how grateful I am for all that he did for me and my family. Do not hesitate to hire this man if you are facing a family law case!

My Recent Divorce.

To: AVVO Re: Cory Blalock, Attorney From: Matt, Recent client Throughout the weeks of my recent divorce, I found the services of my attorney, Cory J. Blalock, to be the one area of my life that did not seem to be going to pieces. Mr. Blalock’s knowledge of divorce and child custod...y laws kept me informed about the legal aspects of the divorce steps taking place, but, more importantly, his prompt responses to my almost daily e-mails or phone calls helped to keep me grounded as complications kept arising in the parenting plans being established. With my primary concern throughout everything being the well-being of my then Five-year-old daughter, I felt a sense of confidence in Mr. Blalock’s ability to foresee potential custody issues that might have developed into problems for my child’s future security. At all times throughout the divorce process, I felt I could (and I did) count on my attorney’s guidance to keep my decisions focused on my child.
