I focus on the structuring, drafting and negotiation of all types of intellectual property and commercial agreements and procurement and enforcement of IP portfolios. I strive to be a trusted advisor to my clients -- counsel they turn to when they have a legal issue and need a thoughtful, practical solution. 

With a software development background, I understand client technologies and client interests in protecting and pursuing those technologies.  However, I have counseled clients and handled transactions in a wide variety of fields, including in the automotive, financial, e-commerce, construction, medical devices, food, aviation and data gathering industries, to name just a few.

I also regularly counsel clients in connection with open source software and data privacy and security, and advise on intellectual property issues in corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, public offerings and bankruptcy.
