William Franklin Marutzky

Mr. Marutzky, or as I know him – Bill, is a consummate professional attorney. His expertise is great and his knowledge encompasses almost all facets of the legal issues he so well solves. In the process of starting a new business, I realized that I needed to incorporate trusts to hold certain assets from the sale of my last business. My will was out of date and Bill was thoughtful enough to ask whether it needed refreshing. I had spoken with a local estate planning attorney who was n...ot as creative or thorough, did not recognize several of the issues which Bill brought up, and was too busy to explain why he made the structure suggestions that he did. I'm glad I called Bill, and was lucky to find that he understands liability protection offered in the various states in which I will be doing business. In addition to giving me a path to protect my assets, he was able to advise me on the various tax ramifications of using a limited liability company rather than a subchapter S corporation which would have been a disaster for me I if I had followed the other attorney's advice.

I last retained Mr. Marutzky in March of this year to assist me with tax problems that I was facing. I retained Mr. Marutzky in light of the fact that he has represented me off and on for the past six years for similar tax issues. His knowledge of the tax code is tremendous. I can't say enough without getting "mushy", however in a pecuniary, mercenary world, Mr. Marutzky loves the law and his first love is its practice.
