also known as Will Trabaris, William Trabaris
Will graduated from New York University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Classical Civilizations. He then received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law Chicago in 2020, where he earned a certificate in Advocacy. He was then admitted to the Illinois bar in early 2021. As a Merit Scholar at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Will honed his skills in litigation and client advocacy by working for the Civitas Childlaw Clinic. Will used his 711 Law Student License to advocate for his minor clients as both a Guardian Ad Litem and Child Representative during the very beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. He fought to ensure his clients’ needs were being met even when everything was changing around them.
Will has extensive experience preparing clients for trials, evidentiary hearings, and the difficult transitions that come with the process of divorce. He knows that the fine points matter and is passionate about making sure his clients receive his most careful and measured advocacy. Will strives to be on the cutting edge of family law jurisprudence – he even co-authored the 2023 chapter of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s handbook, “Illinois Family Law: Preliminary Considerations in Dissolution Actions,” entitled “Pleadings Under the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act”.
Whether analyzing complex financial, tax and property issues or drafting court pleadings, Will approaches his work with a laser-focus to ensure no detail is overlooked. Will’s clients stand to benefit from his zealous advocacy and attention to detail.
