Do not recommend

Review for Attorney Shannon Quinn and firm HSQ Law Firm . Vanessa Hammer and Serna . I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the legal services I received from Shannon Quinn and partners during a highly contentious divorce and criminal trial situation. From the outset, I felt that... Shannon and her firm took advantage of my circumstances, leaving me feeling unsupported and financially exploited. Firstly, Shannon unexpectedly left for maternity leave, with partners informing me after her unexpected leave with my not even being informed of her having upcoming leave no aware of her expecting notified by Vanessa Hammer approximately two days prior a critical court date. This abrupt departure not only left me without guidance during a pivotal moment but also led to her partner, Vanessa, charging me for case reviews and work done during Shannon's absence, which I found to be highly unprofessional given the timing. Throughout the process, I was advised to pursue emergency funds and manage my criminal trial, but I believe Shannon's guidance was misguided and ineffective. Instead of advocating for my immediate needs, I was charged exorbitantly for attorney fees, and there were numerous continuance requests that seemed to stem from the firm taking on more cases than they could handle. Additionally, I was advised to have my home appraised, which turned out to be a costly mistake as the appraisal was significantly lower than expected. The financial strain was compounded by the fact that I was forced to rely on government assistance for basic needs, while my ex-spouse continued to squander marital assets, including spending on extravagant items. Moreover, I felt that Shannon's providing inaccurate information and guidance on criminal case was detrimental to my civil case. I was charged repeatedly for resubmitting paperwork and for emails that merely pointed out previous submissions. This lack of organization and attention to detail from her team left me feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. In summary, my experience with Shannon Quinn has been incredibly disappointing. I have invested over $40,000 in legal fees yet felt that my case was mishandled, resulting in the necessity to change representation. As a respected hospital worker seeking guidance during a challenging time, I regret the choice to work with Shannon and would not recommend her services.

Waste of time and money

What should have been a simple case to modify support and visitation since my kids were with me the majority of the time and are emotionally abused by the other parent turned into a 12 month slog with Shannon completing the bare minimum. Hoping that my new lawyer can fix the mess left by Shannon. Sta...y Away!

Worthless

Wasted a lot of time. Zero results. Malpractice worthy…stay away. I lost. husband was happy I had her because nothing got done. Spent more time billing than working the case
