Sarah Michelle Lerose

Sarah focuses her practice in probate law, including contested guardianships (adult and minor) and estate litigation and administration. Sarah represents individuals, fiduciaries, guardianship agencies, and financial institutions in all areas of her practice and is frequently appointed by judges in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County to serve as Guardian ad Litem and as attorney for alleged disabled adults.

 

Sarah is an active member in the Illinois State Bar Association and currently is a member of the Board of Governors and represents one of the two under the age of 37 seats for Cook County. Sarah also is an active member of the Trust and Estates Section Coucil for the Illinois State Bar Association and has published multiple articles since being admitted to practice law.  

 

Sarah graduated from Saint Louis University Law School in 2014 with Concentrations in Civil Litigation Skills and Criminal Litigation Skills. While in law school, Sarah was appointed as an Honor Council Representative for her class and also served as a Faculty Directed Research Assistant, where she was tasked with creating new laws to serve the underprivileged in various municipal courts. Sarah also interned at the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office in the Juvenile Division and at the Circuit Attorney's Office in St. Louis, Missouri in the Domestic Violence, Sex Crimes, White Collar, Career Criminal, and Violent Felonies Divisions.
