My son was implicated in a very serious crime, arrested, and housed in another county (other than Cook). For two months, his Public Defender refused to meet with him, and when she did, she basically told him to "go straight to prison!" While seeking counsel, Attorney Rodrick Wimberly was recommended.... He readily took the case and we worked out a payment plan. As my son was to appear in court the very next, Attorney Wimberly met him there. He met with my son, listened to his side, and gathered necessary information that was needed to guarantee a proper defense. Had to go to court for RESPONSE TO PETITION FOR RULE TO SHOW CAUSE for alleged failure to pay my ex wife child care expenses she claimed for her mother. Mr Wimberly was my lawyer for a case in identity theft. Not only did we beat the case his compassion and presence was very sincere.
