My son was implicated in a very serious crime, arrested, and housed in another county (other than Cook). For two months, his Public Defender refused to meet with him, and when she did, she basically told him to "go straight to prison!" While seeking counsel, Attorney Rodrick Wimberly was recommended.... He readily took the case and we worked out a payment plan. As my son was to appear in court the very next, Attorney Wimberly met him there. He met with my son, listened to his side, and gathered necessary information that was needed to guarantee a proper defense. Rodrick kept me informed as the case progressed as well as kept in constant contact with his client (my son). Rodrick Wimberly has demonstrated professionalism thru his courtroom manner. He knew what to say and HOW to say it. When the DA and the judge threw "unwarranted lemons," Rod Wimberly politely caught them and made quick glass of lemonade. Although Attorney Wimberly proved (through loads of evidence submitted to the court) that my son should be cleared of all charges, they still were determined to lock him up. However, with Rodrick's legal advice, my son only has to serve a few months in a boot camp. Rodrick Wimberly knows his business!!! I consider him an EFFECTIVE worker as opposed to a HARD worker; for there are those who work hard, but are not effective. I am writing a review on a wonderful lawyer that help my out of a process a little bit more than expected.I hired him in regards to my not being evicted on a property that I thought which was purchased by me and because it was a a lot of work needed to be done upon moving in and it was impossible fo...r me to make the payments and still be able to live there,my Attorney came and explain to me what i would need and not only did I get to stay there my attorney proved to the judge that it was impossible for me to live in those conditions and maintain the property,I can not thank Mr .Wimberly enough for his great representation on behalf of me and my family we are so ever greatful for his calling.
