At Thiersch & Associates, I focus my legal practice in all aspects of employment law, representing and advising individuals and small businesses in matters of race discrimination, sexual harassment, sex discrimination, age discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and claims under FLSA (and corresponding state statutes), ADA, ADEA, and Title VII.

As another part of my practice, I assist small businesses, particularly medical spas, with proper corporate formation and compliance with Illinois laws and regulations.  I assist physicians and other medical professionals in responding to complaints before the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.

I also serve as Associate General Counsel for the American Medical Spa Association (AmSpa) - the foremost association of healthcare professionals in the country - providing legal and regulatory guidance to the medical spa industry. In this capacity, I provide legal counsel to AmSpa regarding issues with marketing, social media, regulations and communications. I frequently lecture at local and national conferences, seminars and workshops on behalf of the association regarding the rules and regulations affecting the medical spa industry.
