The company is just trying to adapt to new circumstances, they don't have to pay you anything additional.
You are fine, you didn't do anything other than send a picture. Chalk this up as a lesson.
If you don't return to work, the IDES will make a determination on whether you continue to collect benefits. You probably won't continue to collect.
The other side will have an attorney and to maximize your settlement amount you should too.
Do you have a signed agreement stating your terms, if so the agreement should be followed.
Hire a lawyer and in the future do deals with signed agreements not a handshake.
Wouldn't you rather have a job and be paid in full through the year or collect just partial on unemployment?
