Biography
Justin Headlee is the founder and principal attorney of Headlee Law Group. He is a dual-licensed attorney, holding bar admissions in both Illinois and Michigan. He represents individuals, families, and business owners across Illinois and Michigan.
Justin earned his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he graduated on the Dean’s List, earned certificates in Tax Law and Transactional Law, and participated in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and Business Law Society. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Alma College.
Prior to founding Headlee Law Group, Justin was a tax associate at a Chicago-based tax advisory firm. During that time, Justin prepared and advised on complex individual, trust, and business tax returns, conducted federal and state tax law research, and represented clients in tax controversy proceedings before state revenue departments and tribunals.
Originally from Marine City, Michigan, Justin relocated to Chicago to attend law school. He lives in Chicago with his girlfriend and enjoys spending his free time exploring the city and visiting his out-of-state family and friends.
