I am a Partner at Sherrer & Burtnett LLC, focusing my practice in intellectual property and corporate litigation. I have represented a diverse array of clients, from individuals to corporations in the software, finance, chemical, confectionary, research, restaurant, salon and music industries. I work with many local Chicago businesses, as well as businesses and individuals nationwide.

While my litigation experience is extensive, I understand that my clients' resources are better spent developing their businesses than carrying the burden of litigation expenses. This is why I work to resolve cases without going to trial whenever possible. Additionally, my first-hand experience in litigation has given me the knowledge to successfully draft and negotiate contracts and corporate policies to help clients avoid litigation at the outset.
