Robert Joseph Stroh

I've hired Rob to defend me against criminal charges and traffic violations on multiple occasions and in multiple counties. I would especially recommend him in DuPage County, given his familiarity with their State's Attorney's Office. The single biggest thing I want to point out is that Rob isn't... a law mill. He's not trying to resolve bulk numbers of cases as quickly as can be. He explains what's going on, what the next steps are, and **what options you have**. I'm "a little familiar" with legal process and terminology, and Rob was happy to explain things at a slightly higher level when I asked. For a particularly worrisome case, a larger firm's consultation spelled doom and gloom. I called Rob, who gave me a brief explanation of what exactly would have to happen at a trial for the state to secure a conviction, and how that plays into the pre-trial process, etc. Having some of the fog removed from the process alleviated much of the anxiety of being brought up on criminal charges. I can't stress that enough. Most importantly, Rob understood what I wanted out of the process, what I wanted to avoid, and was cognizant of this throughout the process. He made it feel less like something that was happening to me, and more like something navigable, with clear objectives and requirements.

I hired Mr. Stroh to represent me on a traffic case. He was very down to earth and easy to relate to. He got my case finished fast, and he had the best rates too. I have obtained Mr. Stroh for my traffic infraction case of driving while licence suspended and driving on painted median. I contacted 6-8 different lawyers for consultation just to make sure I understand my position and to ensure I don't get mislead and overcharged. From the initial phone call ... Mr. Stroh was extremely polite and professional. He listened to me without interrupting and was not trying to get me off the phone like many other lawyers did. He gave me the best and worst case scenario. He was honest and told me that the case should not be a tough one according to what I presented to him. He did not try to take advantage of my situation and charge me outrageous fee since driving under suspended licence is class A misdemeanor (from what I understood). Some of the other lawyers I have contacted wanted to charge double or more for what Mr. Stroh charged me and wanted to make the case seem like it is very tough one therefore justifying their fee (which is their right to have fee schedule as they please). I did go to the court yesterday, met him in the hallway, he told me the deal he has gotten and I accepted it. We went to the court room, there was about 50+ people there, I was called 2nd and done in literally 2 minutes. My driving under suspended was dismissed and I got 3 months court supervision on the 2nd ticket which will not be reflected on my record (after 3 months passes and I don't get other court supervision or another ticket). This was the best case scenario and exactly what Mr. Stroh told me we are going to shoot for. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
