I began my career as a litigator and then transitioned to real estate developer and investor. I now represent clients facing litigation regarding commercial real estate matters.
In the wake of the financial crisis of 2008, I devoted my practice to assisting homeowners affected by the accompanying residential real estate market crash.
As an attorney with over 28 years of experience I am committed to helping my clients make focused and strategic decisions. I have combined my strong background in finance with 20 years of legal experience and significant experience as a real estate developer and investor to counsel my clients facing litigation involving real estate.

Disappointing Response
I called this Attorney to seek additional help for a foreclosure case I have been fighting for 7 years. This "aggressive" Attorney's staff told me there is NOTHING that can be done after a summary judgement has been entered. Incredible! There are so many actions/motions I have found on the Internet about what you can do to keep fighting. Truthfully, if I had listened at the beginning of this process to every Attorney who told me "nothing can be done" I would have lost my home 7 years ago. This is deeply disappointing and just a waste of my time. If anyone is seeking an aggressive Attorney don't go here.

Response from James CalvoOctober 18, 2018
When you called our office, the staff patiently listened to you explain your situation and simultaneously reviewed your actual case file.
In your case, it would have been particularly expensive to become intimately familiar the extensive file history, but necessary as we prepared to aggressively defend you. Because judgment had already been entered, our staff made a determination that the expenses were prohibitive. We always strive to ensure that our fees are fair and reasonable for our clients.
