Biography
I am an experienced Illinois attorney currently concentrating my practice in all aspects of civil litigation, including: personal injury; commercial and business disputes; real estate litigation; divorce and family law; general civil litigation; contract disputes; wage, salary, commission and other employment disputes; foreclosures; defamation; and, appeals.
I have also gained valuable experience in the areas of insurance defense litigation, real estate transactions, personal injury defense, and estate planning.
I have successfully handled jury and bench trials in state and federal courts throughout Illinois; litigation, arbitration and mediation of commercial and personal disputes in both state and federal courts; and, state court appeals resulting in both published and non-published opinions.
I have authored materials published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the DuPage County Bar Association Brief, and have presented numerous seminars for firm clients and potential clients on various legal issues.
Other Experience: While in college, I interned for then Congressman, and subsequently Pennsylvania Governor and former Secretary of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge.
